Core Exhibition to feature student work from Core Design Program March 27-30 at ISU College of Design

AMES, Iowa – Student work completed in the Iowa State University College of Design’s introductory design and drawing studios will be on display during the last week of March.

The “Core Exhibition” will feature a selection of current and past projects from the Design Studies 102: Design Studio I and Design Studies 131: Drawing I courses in the college’s first-year Core Design Program. Pieces will include pattern and texture drawing and mark making, still life and representational drawing, color theory and design, 3D forms and wearable designs.

Work completed this semester will be exhibited March 27-30 in Gallery 181, located on the first floor of the Design building on the west side of the Iowa State campus. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Work from the last academic year (fall 2021/spring 2022) will be displayed digitally in the Lightfoot Forum (atrium) and may be viewed anytime March 27-30 during regular building hours.
