Work by art and visual culture associate professor Barbara Walton part of solo, group exhibitions at Edgewood College Nov. 13-Dec. 18

AMES, Iowa — "Waxing Poetic: The Journey of an Accidental Scientist," a solo exhibition of encaustic artwork by Barbara Walton, Iowa State University associate professor of art and visual culture, will be on display Nov. 13 through Dec. 18 in the Interactive Science Education Exhibit Center at Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin. Walton will give an artist lecture at 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14.
Paintings by Walton and two other artists are part of the "Paint" exhibition in the Edgewood College Gallery at The Stream, also on display Nov. 13 through Dec. 18. A reception will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, with artist talks at 6 p.m.
