Case studies by Bernard Canniffe, professor and chair of the Iowa State University Department of Graphic Design, and Ryan Clifford, ISU assistant professor of graphic design, have been published in Developing Citizen Designers by Elizabeth Resnick (Bloomsbury Academic, 2016). Canniffe’s “Designing Police” appears in Section 2: Design Activism, and Clifford’s “Project Baltimore” appears in Part 2, Section 1: Collaborative Learning. Canniffe also wrote the Foreword.
