Senske recognized for ‘exemplary paper’ at computer science education conference

“Evaluation and Impact of a Required Computational Thinking Course for Architecture Students,” a paper by Nick Senske, Iowa State University assistant professor of architecture, has been selected as a SIGCSE 2017 Exemplary CS Education Research Paper by the Association For Computing Machinery Special Interest Group in Computer Science Education. This places his paper in the top 9 percent of submissions. Exemplary papers are chosen because of their “high quality, novelty and broad appeal to reviewers.” Senske will present his paper at the SIGSCE Technical Symposium, the largest computing education conference worldwide organized by ACM SIGSCE, March 8-11 in Seattle, Washington.
