Core Design Program
Applying to a Degree Program
To be considered for our majors*, students must:
1. Pass all Core courses:
- DSN S 102
- DSN S 131
- DSN S 183
- DSN S 110/115
2. Earn a 2.00 cumulative GPA
3. Complete at least 29.5 credit hours
After fulfilling these requirements, students may directly enter our Art and Design/Art and Culture concentration or Community and Regional Planning majors or apply to a professional degree program.
* The Core is not required of students interested in Community and Regional Planning.
Applying to a Professional Degree Program
Students interested in Architecture, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, Integrated Studio Arts and Landscape Architecture must apply to the major or majors of interest after meeting the above requirements. Applications to the professional degree majors must include:
