Previous Exhibitions

An exhibition of new work by conceptual artist Mat Greiner consisting of an installation and video efforts. Absurdity, failure and unreliability are central to Greiner's work, expressed through collisions of vignettes and fragmentary constructions. In "Fall," the large-scale installation, video and sculptural works circle existential notions of mortality and soulfulness.

Greiner is a candidate for a master of fine arts (MFA) degree in integrated visual arts at Iowa State University and is the director of Transient Gallery in West Des Moines, a nontraditional, unfunded space that does not represent artists but rather provides an opportunity to share more diverse art with the Des Moines community.
