Passport processing times are approximately 4-6 weeks, but it is never too early to apply because passports are valid for 10 years. Students wishing to study in Rome in summer 2011 and fall 2011 students need to have their passports by mid-March 2011 at the latest. Students interested in spring 2012 need to have their passports by mid-September 2011 at the latest.
