WHAT DOES THE DESIGN COUNCIL DO?
Using funds from the University central administration
and Design College Dean's Office, we provide thousands
of dollars in allocations to eligible Design College
student organizations and assist those organizations
in promoting themselves, and collaborating with other
Design College organizations. In addition, the Design
Council sponsors, coordinates and funds College-wide
Design competitions and scholarship programs.
The Design Council meets regularly with the Dean
of the College of Design, representing the views of
students of the College. In addition, a member of the
Design Council serves on the Government of the
Student Body's Senate, representing the students of
the Design College within the University-wide student body.
WHY SHOULD YOUR ORGANIZATION GET INVOLVED?
The Design Council is the only College-wide student
organization, and it has an annual budget of thousands
of dollars, which directly funds those organizations with
membership in the Design Council. The Council is
the perfect organization for you to work with to organize
a College-wide event or program, from the Recycling
Container Program to CORE Journal publication to
VEISHEA booths and much more.
HOW CAN YOUR ORGANIZATION GET INVOLVED
If your organization is new or not currently a member
of the Design Council, you can apply for provisional

clubs that exhibit perfect Design Council meeting
