The Iowa State University College of Design invites alumni to submit work to be considered for the "30 and Beyond" alumni exhibition. The title references the college's 30th anniversary as well as the future -- it celebrates not only our alums' contributions to society, but the potential of our students, who will become the next generation of alumni.
Guest curator for this exhibition is David McFadden, chief curator and vice president for programs and collections, Museum of Arts and Design, New York City.
Entry Guidelines
- Open to all College of Design alumni from architecture, art and design, art education, biological and pre-medical illustration, community and regional planning, graphic design, integrated studio arts, interior design, and landscape architecture.
- Limit two entries; all original work completed since 2003
(must fit through a standard door frame) - Digital/electronic files only (JPEG or PDF) for selection; submit online or on CD
- Entry deadline: 5 p.m. Friday, January 30, 2009
- Download/read full prospectus
To Enter
- Register online
- Once registered, fill out online entry form and upload images
or
print out form (.pdf) and mail with images on CD
Selection/Notification
- Thirty total works by 30 alumni in gallery exhibition and printed catalog
- One image from every entrant in online show
- All entrants notified of selection results the week of March 23, 2009
